Year 10 students from Shoeburyness High School see their published handywork for the first time in their You Are Here tourist guide to Southend on Sea.
The book was one of a set of three written and illustrated by pupils from three secondary schools in Southend, Harlow and Harwich in a process developed and managed by Metal.

The temporary gallery space at Chalkwell Hall opened with their first exhibition on 17th September – showing work by Joe Avery and Emma Bell. The temporary space is a partnership between Metal and Coexist (www.coexist.org.uk) the artists collective from Southend on Sea set up by Amy McKenny and Emma Emmerton. The gallery will operate until the renovation work starts at Chalkwell Hall – due to begin sometime mid October.
