The biggest live music competition in Essex returns to Southend seafront, as local bands battle it out to be crowned the Southend Radio Battle of the Band champions 2009!

Heat 3 – Saturday 3rd October, 5-7pm, Chinnery’s
Heat 4 – Saturday 10th October, 5-7pm, Chinnery’s
Semi Final – Saturday 17th October, 6-8pm, Marine Parade Car Park
Semi Final – Saturday 24th October, 6-8pm, Marine Parade Car Park
Grand Final – Saturday 31st October, 6-8pm, Marine Parade Car Park

There will be judges at each event, who will decide who goes through to the next round, but the audience can also have their say to vote the winner at the Grand Final! Bring your mobile phone and send a text to vote for the band you want to win!
