Billu Barber tells the story of a poor barber, Billu (Irfan Khan), who lives with his family in the fictional village of Budbuda. His world is turned upside down by the arrival in the village, for a film shoot, of a famous film star, Sahir Khan ( Shahrukh Khan), whom Billu knew as a child. The film develops as a comedy which also makes serious points about friendship and poverty.
