Artwork from the Educate A Child Trust exhibition is on at the Southend Library from this Tuesday.

This registered charity helps rebuild the lives of those in the poor community of Kalutara, following the devastating effect of the tsunami upon Sri Lanka. This exhibition of artwork has been created by the children of this very worthwhile project and brought to Southend by a local fundraising volunteer. Southend Library is thrilled to host an exhibition which alongside raising funds for the cause, through the sale of artwork also presents a great insight into this community’s resilience.

Open until 1 February.
