A selection of works from Southend photographer TJ Du Plessis is on at the ground floor of the Southend Library until this Saturday.
The exhibition surveys the work that TJ Du Plessis has been doing apart from his commercial photography. They include street (Venice, London) and landscape shots, many of which are black and white or with manipulated colours. Digital photographs from different locations and of different styles are mixed up here which doesn’t seem to do them much favour. They would work better displayed in groups they belong to. The show could also gain a more serious edge should the few unfortunate sunset scenes been left out. Nevertheless there are few photographs worth checking out, if you are visiting the library before this Saturday!
