Chew Lips, South London based dance-pop trio, formed in spring of 2008,will play at Chinnerys on 2 March.
CHEW LIPS are coming down to Southend to promote the release of their new album UNICORN. One of the song from this album, Karen, has just entered the NME top 20.
After previously playing such illustrious shows as Bestival & BBC Electric Proms, Chew Lips are currently warming up for their appearance at SXSW in TEXAS with a series of dates including; supporting Ellie Goulding, HMVs Next Big Thing show, and THE NME Awards.
They are very much a band on the up&up with their recent promo for ‘Salt Air’ making it to No.1 most watched video on YouTube!
Their celebrity fans include BBC dj Steve Lamaco and Lauren Laverne, and comedian Matt Horne (from Gavin and Stacey) and have recently appeared in a number of ‘Ones To Watch In 2010′ including NME, The Fly, Nylon, Grazia and Q.
