‘This is the world’s first user-generated feature film, which basically means people at home had an input into how the film was made,’ says Faintheart’s director Vito Rocco.

MySpace members were invited to contribute to the production of this film, including choosing the director himself! They wrote some of the script and some even had their part in the feature.

Faintheart is a comedy about a man obsessed with medieval times. A member of a battle re-enactment group called the Bloody Broadswords in his spare time, in reality he battles with his marriage breakdown and dead end job.

Starring Eddie Marsan (from Mike Leigh’s Happy Go Lucky), Ewen Bremner, Anne Reid, Jessica Hynes, Tim Healy and Paul Nicholls.

Starts at 7.30pm, entry £5.

The Palace Theatre once enjoyed a brief period as a cinema in the 1930s and its intimate auditorium recalls the golden era of the movies. The screening of Faintheart is part of the series of films presented by The White Bus at The Palace Theatre.
