The second edition of Polish Arts Festival starts with an exhibition on Wed, followed by films, theatre and jazz and culminating in the Polski Picnic – a free festival in Priory Park on Sunday.
Polish Arts Festival‘s aim is to ‘celebrate the very best of Polish culture and art, to develop new international artistic collaborations, and to help nurture the special relationship between Southend-on-Sea and Sopot, Southend’s Polish twin, on the Baltic Sea.’

Thursday 9 - Free Films at TAP Galleries
18:00 – ‘The Lost Requiem’ + 20:00 – Polish short films
Friday 10 – 12:00 to 16:00 – ‘My Club’ – City Centre – ‘My Club’ is a uniquely refurbished Bedford truck that will be used to host all manner of performances / activities
20:00 – Maciej Pysz Group – Jazz at the Railway Hotel – Southend-on-Sea + ‘Chodzenie – Siberia’ – City Centre
Saturday 11 – 12:00 to 16:00 – ‘My Club’ – City Centre – ‘My Club’ is a uniquely refurbished Bedford truck that will be used to host all manner of performances / activities
