Xeric, a new youth hard rock band, are playing at Saks (Clifftown Road) on Saturday 16 July from 8pm.
Xeric are a Hard Rock band from Southend on Sea. Xeric were formed in 2010 and consist of Luka Worricker (Vocals), Ewan Boissinot (Lead Guitar), Tom Parker (Rhythm Guitar), Ferghal Swanwick (Bass) and Kieran Hayden (Drums). They played their first gig at Chinnerys in Southend on Sea in March 2011.
Xeric worked this year on their four track demo that was recorded at Maple Studios. They finished recording it on Saturday 7th May 2011 and it was mixed on Monday 9th May.
Xeric released the demo on Tuesday 10th May via Reverbnation and Myspace. They filmed their first music video with Enigma Productions in June 2011, filming took place on 4th and 5th June, editing was completed in early July and the video was released on Weds 13th July 2011 on Youtube and Facebook. The music video was filmed on location on the roof of the Civic Centre, Bar Lambs, Westcliff and at the bands homes and rehearsal hall at St Helens Church Hall, Westcliff on Sea:
