The Focal Point Gallery are organising four events this Saturday to mark the end of the Thames Delta exhibition about local music scene.
Saturday 30 June 2012, 2-4pm – Focal Point Gallery
Closing event for Giorgio Sadotti’s ‘THIS THIS MONSTER THIS THINGS’ – During the afternoon, the artist’s publication THIS THIS MONSTER THIS THINGS will be launched. The book is printed in colour broadsheet newspaper format, with a card wrap-around cover in an edition of 1,000. ISBN 978-1-907185-08-3.

Gallery Reading – Jonathan Lahey Dronsfield will give a performative reading from ‘The Goldmine Ten Theses on Music’
Saturday 30 June 2012, 8-9pm – The Railway Hotel, Clifftown Road
Closing event for ‘Thames Delta – Part One’: 3 before 8 record launch – This event will launch two new 7″ records, 3 before 8 and Stand Up Now, made for the exhibition ‘Thames Delta’ by the following artists and philosophers with a passion for Northern Soul: Ross Birrell, Simon Critchley, John Cussans. Jonathan Dronsfield, Haroon Mirza and Cornel West. Both discs are printed in an edition of 300.
