Sanderling Productions new play follow last year’s sell-out of Alan Ayckbourn’s Time of My Life with another piece of classic comedy theatre from one of America’s most successful dramatists.
Neil Simon’s Plaza Suite is set in 1960s New York, where three very different couples are trying to enjoy the luxury of Suite 719 at the Plaza hotel, with varying degrees of success.
The play was a smash-hit when it opened on Broadway in 1968, and this special professional studio revival will recreate a small corner of 60′s midtown Manhattan on the Dixon stage.
A romantic anniversary, a passionate reunion, a perfect wedding – but nothing seems to go exactly as planned.
Author of classics The Odd Couple and The Sunshine Boys, Neil Simon is one of America’s most successful dramatists. Plaza Suite showcases Simon at his best – witty, sophisticated and deliciously funny.
Directed by Tony Pankhurst.
