SATURDAY: The Goldmaster Allstar’s reggae inspired music.

The Goldmaster Allstar is a 10-piece band performing ‘laid-back rocksteady, heavy roots reggae and ska instrumentals.’

They are influenced by the Jamaican reggae scene and have recorded 4 albums and numerous EPs, working with some of the greats including Alton Ellis, Michael Prophet, The Pioneers, Dennis Alcapone, Tena Stelin, Owen Gray, Winston Francis, Winston Reedy and AJ Franklin.

The tickets are £5.

SUNDAY:

Martin McNeill and the Baseys:
The Baseys play ‘all things blues jazz and soul. That could mean anything from Van Morrison, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Les McCann, and Wes Montgomery through to Jimi Hendrix and The Doors.’ The Baseys have recently enjoyed a come back with a new guest singer Jessica Noah – ‘well versed in blues and soul as well as contemporary songwriter material’. They also include ‘blues vocals from Peter, soaring blues guitar from Alex, classic keys from Simon, swinging and funky jazz drums from Jay, and deep and dirty bass from Ian’.
