The organisers of Rayleigh Arts Festival say there is an international theme to this year’s event.
At the opening event, they are hosting live music and dance from around the globe in Rayleigh High Street. Free workshops will also be available for children and families where they can try out art techniques such as Aboriginal Dream Time painting and Japanese Book Binding.
Home-grown talent and the creativity of our young people will also celebrated, with the return of the Young & Talented Showcase and the first Rayleigh SX Urban Games.
