It’s almost four years since the first M:E:E:T event.
As with the original concept, peer critique of work is the heart of this endeavour, so feel free to bring work/ideas that you would like to discuss…
‘Come M:E:E:T With Me’ is an opportunity to participate and host the original M:E:E:T. Attendees take it in turns hosting M:E:E:T in which ever venues they have available. As combination of ‘Come dine with me’ and the original M:E:E:T concept, this approach will keep the meetings fluid and diverse yet remain true to the original endeavour; which was to get artists together, irrespective of institutional contexts and disciplines, to talk about their work – to Make: Exchange: Evolve: Together.
M:E:E:T is a simple concept which includes shared ownership, no hierarchy, and a shared responsibility for ourselves and each other. It is an independent yet inclusive group.
If you would like to host this, or any other M:E:E:T, at your home or other venue that your might have available, contact Debora.
All meetings are 6.30-8.30pm
The venue will be released two weeks prior to each M:E:E:T event.
M:E:E:T is free – but you are welcome to bring drinks/snacks to facilitate the evening.
