Hybernation’s (Stuart Bowditch) latest album ’E2 & E8’ is out now on the wonderful Cotton Goods label. The collection of 8 songs is based around field recordings made in the East London postcodes during the winter of 2008/2009. Hybernation’s (Stuart Bowditch) latest album ’E2 & E8’ is out now on the wonderful Cotton Goods label. The collection of 8 songs is based around field recordings made in the East London postcodes during the winter of 2008/2009.
The beautifully handmade CD package sold out in 24 hours, but the download version is available from http://hybernation.bandcamp.com/ There is also a great review on Boomkat http://boomkat.com/cds/322695-hybernation-e2-e8
Also supporting the release is a walkable circular mix featuring all the songs and also some tracks by artists whose houses we pass en route, which is broadcast on Arctic Circle Radio, and a map with all the locations where the recordings were made.
