Directed in 2005 by Jeff Feuerzeig, it tells a real story of a manic-depressive genius singer/songwriter/artist, Daniel Johnston.

The America’s most unlikely pop phenomenon and ‘outsider’ visual artist, Johnston’s career has spanned over three decades. He has spent the last twenty-three years exposing his heartrending tales of unrequited love, cosmic mishaps and existential torment to an ever-growing international cult audience, and as a result has been hailed as an American original akin to blues-man Robert Johnson and country legend Hank Williams. Read more about the film on its official WEBSITE.

Directed by James McTeigue in 2006 and set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey (NATALIE PORTMAN) who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked man (HUGO WEAVING) known only as “V.” Incomparably charismatic and ferociously skilled in the art of combat and deception, V ignites a revolution when he urges his fellow citizens to rise up against tyranny and oppression. As Evey uncovers the truth about V’s mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself – and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plan to bring freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.
