This Saturday, Michelle Bappoo and Wendy Solomon (La Belle et la Beat gigs organisers) are putting on a special farewell gig at The Focus Youth Theatre.



The Focus Youth Theatre will be demolished to make a way for new Tesco and will relocate to new premises behind the sorting office in Short Street.
As usual, with La Belle et la Beat events, this is a family-friendly affair, with colouring and activities for children at the top of the theatre.

Line up includes:

A family friendly event of music, La Belle et La Beat, is at the Railway this Sunday, 2-6pm. It is to celebrate La Belle’s 1st birthday and whilst the kids are entertained by activities, you can enjoy a fabulous line-up:

- Hardcore-mellow folk BLUE IN THE FAITH’s Ashley and Ray ‘veer between heartbreaking traditional northern folk songs and the occasional Hannah Montana cover’. 

- Followed by NEW SUBJECTS - a mix of indie-folk, rap and grime.

 

- Resident band ARTGRUPPE’s (MySpace) new demo album is out next month but you can heat their ’tragi-poetic’ pop songs here.

- Next on the list is Western-inspired music by PHILLIOUS WILLIAMS (MySpace).

- Finally, ST. HUCK will end the afternoon with the rock and garrage edge.
