MakeExchangeEvolveTogether – Meet is an informal critique group for artists to meet and discuss work, ideas, materials and exhibitions; essentially to provide a structured, regular, live forum where artists can meet in order to make, exchange and evolve together.

Concept – Meet is intended to provide artists with an opportunity to share expertise and ideas to grow individually (and collectively) as artists. It provides protected time for artists to engage together to help progression of ideas and/or practice

Format – Meet is a monthly, 2-hour meeting where time is divided between artists. Each artist can choose to share their work from the past month. This allows focussed discussion (which might include, for example, the artist’s successes and/or problems encountered with concepts and/or materials, new ideas, suggestions for new media, seeking advice and giving advice). This format is flexible (the group might discuss the current exhibition at TAP, for example).

You don’t have to bring work to come along, feel free to just join the discussion.
