Last Thursday, a new exhibition curated by Emma Emmerton and Nastassja Simensky, PUSH>PROCESS, opened at CoExist Galleries. It celebrates traditional and innovative photography processes.
EXHIBITED ARTISTS: Binh Danh, Nicolai Klimaszewski, Charlie Skelton, Christina Z Anderson, Alex Chater, Rebecca Sexton Larson and Tarja Trygg.
In the following video, the curators explain the idea behind PUSH>PROCESS and together with some of the artists take you around the show. In the Winch Room, Simon Fowler has re-created an open mic environment as he experienced it when he’d broken his leg and sat through numerous open mic sessions, taking photos of the performers:
