Summer Holiday Idea #3 – CLUED UP @ Southend Museum

27.07.12 By admin.

As every year, Southend Museum venues have prepared a quiz style game aimed at children.

Children are invited to follow the clues, answer the questions and claim free prizes, which include boomerangs, puzzle cubes, sand creatures (not real), test tube slime, bouncing balls, keyrings and much more.

For those who complete the booklet there is an extra prize – a free return child’s ticket for the Cliff Lift.

A booklet with questions can be picked up from the following branches of the museum: Southchurch Hall, newly reopened Pritttwell Priory, Central, or Beecroft Art Gallery. Copies can also be obtained from the Cliff Lift even though the venue is not included in the Quiz (the Museum thought that the parking charge can be restrictive for some parents).

Both Priory and Southchurch Hall are open on Sundays so get hunting for answers!

The Clued Up! game runs from 21 July – 1 September.

See Southend Museum website for more information.
